CAMPAIGNS / SOMETHING WORTH TAPPING

Playable Marketing for Vertical Video

Turn a great hook into something the audience can actually do.

Make the first interaction part of the idea

A playable campaign lets a potential viewer experience a story tension instead of only watching a trailer. Choose a suspect. Decode the message. Make the terrible date worse. The interaction should communicate the appeal of the series, not hide a generic game behind a title treatment.

Distinguish a browser campaign from a playable ad

A standalone HTML5 campaign can open from a link and offer a richer experience. An advertising-network playable has platform-specific limits, packaging rules, analytics constraints and creative review. We scope them separately. A web game does not automatically qualify for distribution inside an ad network or a social platform.

One hook, one loop, one next step

Build a short, legible path from the creative promise to an action. Avoid account gates before the first meaningful interaction. Test load time, touch targets, muted environments and in-app browsers. End with one clear link to the relevant episode or destination.

Design the experiment before the campaign

Define the audience, creative variants, allocation, attribution window and success metric before launch. Compare cost per qualified return or incremental viewing where the data supports it. Do not pick the winner solely because it produces longer time on page.

A practical first scope

Begin with a creative brief, a single playable mechanic, a lightweight browser build and a measurement specification. The scope should explicitly cover asset rights, localization, device QA, campaign destinations and any ad-platform approval work.
